Richard K. Collins is a native of Harlem, U.S.A. As a young lad, Richard was very active and enjoyed the many opportunities his neighborhood offered. He participated in many organizations, such as the Boys of Yesteryear, the Gauchos, Harlem Goju, and the Boy Scouts of America to name a few. Richard began his schooling in St. Marks the Evangelist and graduated from Power Memorial Academy. Richard continued his education by attending The City College of New York, where he studied business and economics. Richard later volunteered and enlisted himself in the United States Navy. Richard deployed on multiple naval operations and traveled the world, stepping foot in more than eight countries. The Navy is where Richard broadens his understanding of humanity, learning about diverse cultures, backgrounds, and upbringings. Richard departed the military with an honorable discharge, and a continuing will to serve his country. Richard is currently a retail bank manager, at Apple Bank. Richard has more than thirty-three years of banking experience and is a respected professional in his business community. Richard has the trust of his clients. He approaches each client’s financial concern with care, and strategic analysis, and provides them with the proper tools to enhance their financial needs.
In addition, Richard is a Notary Public and has served as an licensed investment agent at Apple Bank Associates in New York City helping to create diversified portfolios for individuals seeking vehicles to increase their stability. Richard is a Freemason and member of Adelphic Union Lodge #14, of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge State of New York and is currently involved in community strengthening by organizing an annual reunion for his childhood community as an event coordinator through his grassroots organization, “The Situation”.
