Katherine Vergez is a passionate Elementary Program Director and proud New York native with over 15 years of experience in education and community-based programming. She brings a holistic approach to youth development, creating environments where students are encouraged to grow academically, emotionally, and creatively.
COMPASS 278 leads a vibrant program that offers academic support, dance and fitness, STEAM activities, and social-emotional learning. Her belief in student voice and empowerment is reflected in initiatives like the ICS youth podcast, where participants produce and share original content inspired by their own interests.
