Awilda Torres, Ph.D., LMHC, CRC, and CASAC is the COAP Unit Director of ICS’s COAP Clinic. She has a doctoral degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from New York University, as well as certifications in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) , and Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC). Awilda ‘s past positions have included Program Director at VIDA Family Services Program; as well as Program Director of Betance Arts. Dr. Torres has also made numerous presentations on issues of domestic violence, anxiety, and depression; and has served as a facilitator of cancer support groups.
